AFCON 2017 begun with a surprise draw between Gabon and debutant Guinea-Bissau (make history with their first point)

In progress also the 2017 Copa Centroamericana, the tournament will be also a qualifying for Gold Cup 2017; day 1 won only Honduras (2-1 over Nicaragua), draw goalless  the other two matches.

The top 4 nations will go at Gold Cup 2017; the 5th place nation at playoff (vs Haiti) and the last (6th) will see the Gold Cup 2017 at home :p

(Guatemala not being able to participate due to FIFA's suspension)

Begin today the South American Championship sub20  will decide which four teams will represent the continent at the FIFA U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017 (S.Am nations, as always, will be protagonist at WC ;) )

AFCON today begin round 2 (group A), the favourites remain the same nations; but with many teams at same level, also an underdog can reach the SF (as happened in last editions) :mumble:

Copa Centroamerica (also qf at Gold Cup) without surprises after three rounds; next round is decisive for Nicaragua & Belize (last two) who win will still have hopes ...
