:HAI Haiti will also try to qualify in alpine skiing (though extreme long shots)

I recall they had a guy at the 2013 and 2015 WCH, and was always over a minute off the pace in each race.

Never say never??

It would be pretty awesome if they did make it

:PRK North Korea is competing at the Short track speed skating World Cup this weekend in Shanghai. Seems like their skaters have decent times.

:DMA had an athlete (the same male who competed in Sochi) meet the qualification standard in his first race back. So they are likely to qualify if he keeps up the pace.

Will they lie and buy their way to the Olympics again or will he go alone this time? :d

I think its unfair to characterize them as liars. They legitimately became citizens of Dominica (owing to the country's lax citizenship laws) and competed in five races each to qualify....

I'm a huge fan of exotic nations, but I hope these two won't be anywhere near the Olympics ever again to be honest :p

    • Thank you as well! Sorry for not being able to deliver the results.
    • I think we can all agree, that it is absurd for the World Cup to end in the middle of January.  Yes, there are the Olympics, but it will be a whole month without racing before it. IBSF always crams their calendar week after week, without any thought.
    • Yes she's sick and will be DNS for the pursuit.
    • Team Event     The top 9 teams advance to the next round!   We lose the Clare Banners and the Mayo Banners at this stage.
