So, Karate World Championships starts next week in Linz (Austria)!

Does anybody know which events are going to take part in Tokyo 2020? I'm assuming one of them will be individual Kata, but for Kumite which weight classes are gonna be "olympic"? :mumble:

Kata + 3 weight classes for Kumite were proposed when Karate started its procedure to be included in the OG program...but for now there's nothing official about the actual Tokyo2020 Karate schedule, nor those 3 possible weight categories for Kumite have been unoffcially determined yet...:dunno:

Dominika Tatarková in womens +68 has actually quite pretty good chance for such interesting result,  I´ll not say literally for a medal, but we expect of her to finish at some places around of it :)

Does anyone knows if there is any website where we can follow the live results? (something like ippon.org for Judo)

I guess they'll wait as long as possible to give the richest countries the best chances to "vote" their best weights into the program to make sure countries don't focus on a few weights only and the non-Olympics weights would go down the drain as a result.
