With that Australia has confirmed its 34 swimmers. 3 more will be added if (when) Australia qualifies its 4x100m freestyle relay.

No Mexican swimmer qualified today at the meeting in Mesa, Arizona, with only Miguel de Lara improving his OST in Men's 100m breaststroke.

Only 2 swimmers have achieved the qualifying time: Liliana Ibañez in women's 50m Freestyle and Longyuan Gutierrez in men's 100m Butterfly, a slight improvement over London, as now two swimmers managed to get under the old "A" standard.

Australia, Canada, France, Japan and New Zealand so far. Of course the teams could grow should they qualify a 10km swimmer or a relay team. Great Britain and South Africa finish their trials this weekend and should announce their team shortly after.

If anyone is staying up late enough watch the Brazilian swimming trials. 4 men will be fighting for 2 100m breaststroke spots.
