They have announce that basically they will do nothing from my understanding, its not event a sport we are irrelevant,  we have a team in both genders and a 2 times olympic medalist

At minimum, nations who do this should be banned from hosting events for a number of years.

I'm not opposed to International federations banning Israel (though *now*, of all times over the past couple years, seems a little suspect), but host countries absolutely should not get to pick and chose which countries get to compete in events they host.

I remember when our players of Tennis table didnt get their visa to participate in canada ...the same thing is happening here , it's legal

It is indeed a problem more widely in world sports, and it bothers me in those situations too.

Yep...  couldn't/didn't want to play in  as part of the FIBA AmeriCup qualifiers, and  was granted win by forfeit.  

 

And the opposite was also true...  women volleyball couldn't get visas to play in  (a territory of ) for the NORCECA W Final 4 tourney, thus other teams participated.
