9 non - speedskating golds: 1 figure skating, 1 snowboard and 7 short track. So only one snow gold medal, and that’s even our only snow medal. We have won 8 golds in exact of the last 3 Winter Games, and 6 (so far) this year, while, with only a little exaggeration, only seriously competing in 23 events. -

His grandpa died on the day of the opening ceremony. Perhaps he got overwhelmed with all that and couldn't deliver. -
Poor McGrath walking into the wilderness (and then lying down in the snow) will be a topic for some memes I suppose. There was once in F1 when Alonso lied down on a sunbed (I think after he crashed or his car broke down?) and there were a good number of memes about that. -
Sweden has actually improved now. 12-19 in shots. It was like 13-2 before. Not that I think they would have been able to win anyway but if they had been in group A they would have had some practice games on this level and not getting this chock from after only playing the B-teams -
I didn't realize the Netherlands had that many gold medals, I just looked up the all-time medal table of the Winter Olympics and you're 9th overall We only got to 50 golds (all sports considered) yesterday with Vittozzi's win in biathlon. -

Team are in major trouble and I think if Curling goes medaless they will be major changes before 2030. Maybe dropping to only f7nding 1 or 2 of the 3 events.
