Rizzo didn't his job well today, but his main job was to do as part of the team and he did it.

Was late to watching this event today, but so happy to see our three gentlemen having skated well.  Naumov's story is heartbreaking, so I'm especially glad to see him do well.  Torgashev did great, and I'm glad to see Malinin get out of his head a little and win the SP.  A rare mistake for the Japanese men...but man Kagiyama's routine is so fun (and I'm glad he was still all smiles at the end despite the small mistake).

The BBC here in the UK have promoted its coverage tonight to BBC1. Risky considering Fear and Gibson will need luck to win a medal. With the negative mood towards the team coming 4 th again in particular could fuel issues

They are in 4th, and have a slightly better SB in the FD compared to Gilles/Porier and Guignard/Fabbri, plus that British judge really is quite biased

I don't know why I bother.

The British judge is depending on lottery funding to feed their family

Don't have much interest in figure skating in general, but from looking at results and some highlights here and there, i see that country hopping is in style. Not on wrestling level, but it's in the same orbit. :d

But for my mother, figure skating is one of the few things she watches at the Winter Olympics. I had to explain to her a few days ago, that Russia is not competing and she replied "then why am i seeing Russian names every 3-4 routines"

:LTUReed/Ambrulevičius with their all time highest combined score of 204.66! They should finish 7th overall.. Well done, could have been higher, but still a great result and wonderful performance

Heh when I was a little - My first OG 2002 I was suprised cause older brother father watched ski jumping and my Mother watched figure skating : D. And I asked her because it was strange ( not any ice rink around) and she told me that when she was younger they took  hockey skate shoes and when the winters were harsh they used to do natural ice rink. After when ice rink was built nearby I saw that she really can skating. Haha what is more he watched also the movie about famous figure skating rivals :D ( I forgot the title)
