I just read something that said that the budget is much, much less than London (and of course Beijing).  I'm glad.  It was getting a little crazy.  I'm glad to see something a little more down to earth and sincere.

Frankly, I would have been happy if they held the ceremony down at the beach with dancers and Sugar Loaf and Cristo in the background.  Personally, the parade of nations is my favourite part of every OC.
