The first Bulgarian Olympians who will enter the Olympic village today are the swimmers Gabriela Georgieva, Petar Mitsin and Lyubomir Epitropov, as well as gymnasts Kevin Penev and Valentina Georgieva. All Bulgarian athletes received a national flag plus lion for success. The Bulgarian athletes who will enter the Olympic village left early this morning for Paris. Competitors, coaches and specialists from the swimming and gymnastics staffs left Sofia airport today for the French capital.

After the Canoe Slalom quartet yesterday, today was the turn for the Pistol Shooter Juraj Tužinský and Archer Denisa Baránková to fly to Paris for their 4th and 2nd Olympics respectively.

The  TeamNL house in the village has been nicely decorated and the first athletes (the womens archery team) arrived today by train. Tomorrow the next groups of athletes will arrive: skateboarders, gymnasts, the male archer and the womens handball team. All travelling by train or bus from the Netherlands. The hockeyteams will follow on monday. I hope the TeamNL media team will once again make daily vlogs from the village, these were a highlight in Tokyo and Beijing!
