I voted 8-11, because I think my dog wants to go out for a walk during the day.

Rowing

Track cycling

Field hockey

(Beach)volleyball

Judo

No B-boys and B-girls for me.

I don't know how much my work and university will allow, but I'll try for at least 6 hours. :pope:

My priority will be volleyball, judo, boxing, skateboarding and handball.

I’ll be watching pretty much everything, so that’s 14 hours most days. Sleep schedule will be completely screwed, with events happening from 12:00AM to 2:00PM (PST) but there’s nothing I can do about it so I’ll have to deal with it :dunno: (edit: @heywoodu gave me a good idea to wake up an hour earlier to get schedules/snacks/meals ready)

First few days is exception though, I’ll be skipping some of some of the surfing heats (since the Olympics is 24/7 for the first few days, I’ll use at least part of this time to sleep), but I’ll most likely be watching the semifinals and medal matches (maybe even the quarterfinals)

Actually, no breaking for me (unsurprisingly) :roflmao::facepalm::rolleyes:

My 5 events that I’m most looking forward to (really hard to choose)

Beach Volleyball - Women’s Tournament

Volleyball - Men’s Tournament (and not the women’s tournament )

3x3 Basketball - Women’s Tournament

Athletics - Men’s Decathlon

Swimming - Men’s 100m Butterfly

Between 8-11 because the start of the day is very early here and probably i will be studying during the day so.

Top 5 without order:

Mens Rugby 7, Mens Football, BMX Racing, Tennis and Archery/Athletics.

Probably not watching/skipping:

Breaking, Equestrian, Weightlifting and Badminton

11 plus.  Obviously not every day.  Every third or fourth day I will have to spend 30 minutes or so shopping.

It´s the Olympics so almost 24/7 as all Summer & Winter Olympics since Beijing 2008. The Couple of Gmaes Before them I watched/followed were more time-consuming, because of school duties and I didn´t have such good relation with my doctor as I have now, so could not stay at home for two weeks :p

    • Weightlifting formula is more or less similar to 2020 which was considered terrible by everybody!    this is a tough sport, you can't be in your best shape for too many events. there will be risks of serious injuries this way. with these rules you need 5 good results to qualify. if you bomb out in an event to score a zero you are out of the Olympics unless you replace it with another event. which means most of these poor guys have to participate in 7-8 events (and not just 5) to make up for possible bomb outs.    most importantly if you get injured anytime during this period (almost 2 years) you are out of the Olympics! that's how Sohrab Moradi missed the Tokyo Olympics despite breaking the WR during the qualification period. you can miss the Olympics in 2028 if you get injured late 2026 !  Karlos Nasar couldn't win the Olympic title if we had these rules in 2024   I understand 2024 qualification formula wasn't great either, it had its own flaws but this one is much worse for threatening athletes' health.
