That's the beauty of doubling up, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. They would've won gold if they weren't doubling up.

With or without our doubling up, every Olympics witnesses the emergence of a underdog who suddenly becomes a rowing powerhouse. In Tokyo it was :NED, now :NZL, in 2028 it can be Greenland or, why not, Saudi Arabia. Honey is the key

Congrats for the win; I just hope you don't meet Brooke in the middle of the night, on a dim lighted street, without prior notice.

If the lights light up exactly at the correct moment, he was definitely first, since his light went on first. Not sure if those lights are 100% accurate though?

Yeah, some comfort after so many "lost" golds.

Has there been any event so far in which they were even among the favourites? I thought that'd basically only be the eights later on :p

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

:)

No, i believe it hasn't. Kohler should be dark horse in SS but even that is doubtful. Her prime has long gone. WDS won bronze in 2023 WCh though. Majority of crews are new, without much international experience, so it wasnt expected at all.

8s will be interesting, but i dont expect them to win golds either.
