As I’ve said on cycling threads, she has got stuck riding as a domestique for the big  &  riders, so is not developing.  And then people wonder why so many women cyclists retire at age 25.

MB is her secondary discipline now, with road cycling being her first. Which is good in terms of earning money, but obviously it's harder to win a medal in the road race.

Not entirely done yet....Batten went through the feeding/technical zone without taking anything like a bottle, which isn't allowed. Dutch team is considering whether or not they'll protest and want to get a medal in this way.
