Personal best for all Jakieła, Sidorowicz and Badacz at World Championships, good timing, congrats :yes Also I'm so glad that Sturla have another medal

I think that Jakieła and Sidorowicz might be sure to compete in mass start already :mumble:

I think Sidorowicz has a really nice skiing technique. She looked really good today, she has the flow. She may be a sign of sth good in future for our biathlon team

Hope to see something else over France and Norway the next few days

I think their superior material makes it very difficult for other nations to compete. German men have been much better than french men all season long, but suddenly the french men have faster skiing times. I think by 2026 the picture will be different, especially on the women's side. With world championships taking place every year, the value of a world title is pretty low.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

15th for Vytautas and overall PB for him in the World Championships that he participated in.

But on a good day/year, he should be up there with Rastorgujevs, especially with a 19/20.

He had a lot of health struggles this season, don't know how the final three World cups will look for him.

    • As a Habs fan, I'm sorry on a personal level that they're not going to Italy. But both Caufield and Hutson have been tearing it up since the roster was announced, and they are playing in front of Guerin twice to show him what he's missing. As a Canadian hockey fan, I'm also fine with these decisions. Never get in the way of your enemy making a mistake.

    • The Irish Luge Federation has gone to CAS    - The Irish Luge Federation (ILF) has filed an appeal against the International Luge Federation (FIL), challenging a FIL decision on 26 January 2026 concerning Luge athlete Ms Elsa Desmond (Ireland). The Appellant argues that the FIL unlawfully deprived the IFL of a qualifying place for the 2026 OWG by failing to allocate a remaining qualification place and unlawfully allocating qualification places to athletes granted Individual Neutral Athlete (AIN) status.   The ILF requests that CAS declare a failure to allocate them a qualifying place in violation of the FIL Qualification System. It also requests that CAS order the FIL to allocate a qualification place to the Olympic Federation of Ireland to enter an athlete into the women’s singles luge event for the 2026 OWG. - from a CAS press release
