 Peter Sagan reportedly had minor heart surgery today which will take him out of action for at least a few days - safe to assume he won't be lining up at this weekend's Shimano Supercup event in Banyoles.

I'd say after today's monster performance, he's earned his spot in the Olympics. It'll be difficult to leave him out to bring the two Braidot brothers.

Strong ride for Pieterse duelling it out with Ferrand-Prevot. I guess the cyclocross conditions were really in Pieterses favour. Ferrand-Prevot will feel more at home (literally) in the Paris conditions, but I think we'll be seeing a very exciting and close mtb race! With also Rissveds, Keller, Lecomte present.
