Looks like the season kicked off in earnest this weekend:

Women's Elite

With her 2nd place, Richards adds 80 points to the :GBR total which should extend their lead over :AUS in the battle for the last double quota position in the rankings to around 350 points.

Strong ride for Pieterse duelling it out with Ferrand-Prevot. I guess the cyclocross conditions were really in Pieterses favour. Ferrand-Prevot will feel more at home (literally) in the Paris conditions, but I think we'll be seeing a very exciting and close mtb race! With also Rissveds, Keller, Lecomte present.
