Josh 10,497 Posted June 13 Author #143 Share Posted June 13 Yeah that settles it. Carlini will be US’s starting setter at the Olympics. Just phenomenal!

Josh 10,497 Posted June 13 Author #145 Share Posted June 13 (edited) sweep despite Netherlands playing out of their minds. -7 points for Netherlands (approximately), which cuts their lead to about 10.5 points (approximately) over Canada for the final Olympic quota. If Japan win in 3/4 against Canada later tonight, Canada will need at least a 3-1 win over Netherlands. If Japan win in 5, Canada will need any win against Netherlands. Basically, what I’m saying is that it’ll come down to the head to head match. Watch all of these calculations be for nothing Edited June 13 by Josh
mattadders 4 Posted June 13 #146 Share Posted June 13 USA sweep . Now if can manage a set or two against Japan in the morning, things get very interesting…

A win doesn’t do much for them either. Even if they win a set against Japan, they’ll still have to beat Netherlands in 3/4 (way more likely)
