:LTU officially selected the team:

  • Justinas Kinderis (Men's)
  • Laura Asadauskaitė-Zadneprovskienė (Women's)
  • Ieva Serapinaitė (Women's)

That is one hell of a mouthful for the commentators and stadium announcers!

With only the combined event left, Germany Schoneborn is out of contention for the medals :yikes: Her, along Asadauskaite from Lithuania and 4 others were eliminated in the Equestrian portion.

The duel for the Olympic title will most likely be between :POL  Nowacka and :FRA Clouvel, while the fight for the third position (currently hold by McCann :CAN, who also has a chance for silver) will be also intense.

LAURA ASADAUSKAITĖ ELIMINATED AFTER SHOW JUMPING.... The queen of modern pentathlon is down  Also Schoneborn is out. Now it is an easy medal for Nowacka with Clouvel starting next to her. Isaksen sisters starts in 11th and 14th  -  they are really good at combined, she might catch the medal.

Please just kick this bullshit sport out of the olympics. Its beyond ridiculous that medals are decided by pure luck, if you get a shit horse, than you have no chance, its absolutely disgusting.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

    • This is going to have an effect on very likely 0 athletes, possibly 1 or 2 we don't really know about yet. It's really mostly the cheapest possible way for them to make a sort of political statement, without having any significant backlash since it won't really affect anyone at the top level of international sports.   Edit: worded a bit wrong, I was thrown off by everywhere 'trans women' being mentioned as the target of this. Of course there is also the somewhat larger category of DSD and the likes, which will certainly affect a few athletes - unfortunately they are often thrown under the bus or mentioned as 'not really women anyway' or something like that, despite, you know, being.
    • Mary Rand has died aged 86. The first British woman to win a Gold in track and field at the 1964 Tokyo Games (where she also took home a further two medals in the Women’s 4x100m relay and Pentathlon).
    • Athing Mu competed in the USA trials in 2024 and 2025 post the 2023 rule changes. She also won Gold in 2022 and Bronze in 2023.    Jelimo the jury is out. She doesn’t look male like the other two do.
    • People focus on trans people because it's easier to pinpoint the affected athletes. Meanwhile it's the athletes with (suspected) DSDs that will have tougher time to convince the authorities and the public opinion that they belong to women's sports.
    • badminton queen Carolina Marin announced that she can't take part into the home Europeans in the upcoming weeks because of her injured knee and calls it a career 😭
    • yes, there are (or there was, at least) don't forget that the women's 800m had world and olympic champions like Semenya, Jelimo and Nyonsaba...basically, it was 10 years of DSD winners only the same Athing Mu was suspected to be DSD (never confirmed, but somehow she totally disappeared after Tokyo) then, there were the 2 girls from Namibia (1 won a medal over 200m in Tokyo) in Italy we have the living scandal Valentina Petrillo (a paralympian!!!), who's actually a real man not to mention the weightlifter from who took part into the Tokyo Games so, it's a real problem all around the globe, not just a US crusade against a few woke idiots
