rafalgorka 1,566 Posted November 4, 2023 Author #2 Share Posted November 4, 2023 I would also add a medal for Michał Kwiatkowski in Road Cycling - M Road Race and a qualification for M handball team Josh 1 #TeamMoura-heywoodu
hoversaBR 441 Posted November 4, 2023 #3 Share Posted November 4, 2023 I think that for quotas it would be men's basketball. For unlikely but not impossible medals, I would be happy with Hugo Calderano's medal in table tennis, Hidalgo or Messias in triathlon or the women's handball team. intoronto 5,667 Posted November 4, 2023 #4 Share Posted November 4, 2023 Quota; Women's volleyball team. Men's and Women's field hockey Medal: Any Canadian male medal not in athletics. In Rio and Tokyo Canadian men did not win medals outside of athletics. canadafan2024, rafalgorka and Josh
Josh 10,595 Posted November 4, 2023 #5 Share Posted November 4, 2023 (edited) As for quotas, it’s an easy one, our women’s volleyball team. As for medalists, it’s quite unlikely, but probably our men’s volleyball team. If we played like we did in the Olympic Qualifiers, we might have a chance at a minor medal. Other ones would be FAA in men’s singles tennis (without 2022 RG I wouldn’t be including him), and Erin Brooks in women’s shortboard surfing (but she’ll need to get her citizenship in time to compete at the 2024 ISA Surf Games) Edit: Another qualification hope is our men’s epee team and our men’s waterpolo team, but again quite unlikely. @rafalgorka Edited November 13, 2023 by Josh Added men’s epee team to qualification hopes, and removed men’s waterpolo as we’re already eliminated from contention. rafalgorka and canadafan2024

Good chance for a male medal in artistic gymnastics, judo, swimming, basketball, tennis and boxing. Maybe even wrestling or archery.
