@hckošice@heywooduYeah, that makes sense. Told you a few days of delay is no big deal (for the owner anyway :p ). Now you'll have a special reserve food when another pigeon stumbles upon Slovakian landscape :p

SAG-AFTRA will go on strike, so the American entertainment industry is likely about to grind to a halt. The writers have already been on strike for a few months now. It won’t affect too many shows/films releasing soon, but 2024 could get pretty bare if things aren’t resolved.

Now this is something else :p

A :GER tourist arrived last week to Tatras. he parked the car and went hiking with his family for a few days. Meanwhile, during those few days, the road workers installed new guardrails on that section. When the tourist returned to the car, he found this

Travelling to Slovakia ! Good Idea ! :p

How on earth can you think a place like that - right next to the road - will be totally fine to park your car and just leave for a few days?

Looks to like it was an informal car park before the rails were installed, maybe other vehicles there…..but belonging to people who could read Slovak. :hyper:

Apparently the "OK" hand symbol is racist now and some coach in New York got fired because of it.

I wonder when inhaling oxygen will be deemed racist in USA? :mumble:

It’s complicated because white nationalist groups co-opted it a few years ago, but many people still use it for its intended purpose.

The club investigated the instance and then fired the trainer, which to me seems to indicate the trainer was using it in the less savory way.

    • Honestly, I think you guys have a much better chance of success here than we do. It's already difficult to maintain this sport, and with this ridiculous format this year, things have gotten even worse. Years and years participating in the elite and we haven't been able to evolve; it was just a waste.

She is improving rapidly and still has a lot of room for growth.
