I like a little luxury when travelling, but apart from that, I'd have no problem visiting North Korea....I think it would be interesting and if you don't act like a moron and break obvious rules, you should be fine..

I very much doubt countries like Brazil are on it because of terror, most likely because of 'mafia' like things, you know, 'normal' criminal stuff

And apparently they just ignored countries like Cape Verde, Gambia, Sierra Leone (unless all of those are completely safe ).

I was extremely surprised to see Iran in the list ! but then I remembered we are neighbor to 3 war-torn countries. so that makes sense. even though most of them are probably Afghans. we sometimes forget to remember they are migrants !
