Not really. One stupid person with more or less neo-nazi tendencies threw the Quran around (and has burned several of them in the past). This provoked quite a lot of people who has tried attacking him, but were stopped by the police who has even said that he can't demonstrate due to safety.

Rather sad that he gets this kind of help from people just can't ignore him or even better laugh at him.

There's just so much stupidity in all of this.

1. Burning books just to provoke people

2. Getting all mad and attacking because someone burned one of a gazillion copies of a book

Okay. It's more than one (in fact they're registered as a political party), but only one is ever mentioned.

it's alarming for muslims too , they have to leave denmark forever

What's alarming? That a few fools like to provoke. It would be alarming if they ever get elected, as they have written Nuremburg-like rules for muslims. But I doubt that's ever gonna happen.

Denmark is going in a more right-wing direction when it comes to immigrants, but this guy is an extreme.

this is not one normal book , you are atheist you can't understand

It's still a book. Bullshit to go and burn it, bullshit to go and attack people who burn it. If person A burns a book and person B goes batshit crazy and attacks because of it, both people are just idiots.

the most important thing for human kind is the respect

if you eat beef in front of a hindu

establishing eye contact when speaking  in Japan

using only one hand for receiving money or other things in Korea

and so on and so forth

considered as rude and disrespectful

same thing for holy books  coran, old/new testaments ....

Come on, if you make a show of burning something which holds a significance for a group of people it's clear that you are making a statement/warning/threat against them, you can't completely ignore the symbolic meaning given to things or events and call people idiots.

Yes, which is why I said the people burning a book to provoke people and/or make a statement are just as idiotic. It's all just so unnecessary, burning books that have meaning to other people, attacking people who burn books, etc. Get a life, both sides.

Yes, but surely if you use one hand for receiving something in Korea you're not gonna get physically attacked? :p

What's the eye contact part in Japan btw? You can't make eye contact when talking? :yikes:

I agree though, have some respect for each other's values, and if someone breaks it, either just tell them (maybe they didn't know, although of course that's not the case when someone burns a specific book, but in other situations) or ignore it and go on with your own life. And rule one: don't go and shit on someone's values on purpose 'just because'.

In Slovakia you are expected to take off your shoes when entering any house :d I know this is really strange and weird, (as I found also for some dutch guys  this is for you heywoodu (the second part) https://thecuriousdutchman.com/blog/a-few-curious-habits-to-get-you-started-with-life-in-slovakia-living-in-slovakia-1 ) but it is supposed to be extremely offending if you enter a home with your shoes
