No wonder after :INA boxer lost to :THA by RSC, our official looked so upset and threw our boxer’s glove to the referee

The roller sports venue is probably one of the best ever constructed. In spite of my political differences with the country, China definitely knows a thing or two about sports infrastructure.

our football managed to make history and lost to Hong Kong in the quarterfinal today

they just assembled a team in last 10 days. lots of clubs didn't release their players. 3 players left the team a day ago because their club insisted on having them back. It just doesn't worth sending a football team to the AG (unless it's in July/August)

yeah our football is a total disaster. only the senior team was/is good in Asian standards but I'm afraid that will disappear soon too

in general we had some nice results like first ever medal in Gymnastics and MTB Cycling or two surprising heroic bronze medals in Table Tennis but it's not a good competition for our delegation so far. but of course we have to wait until the Wrestling competition.

I agree Iran has been just about ok on total medals but low on golds ....

For India this is turning out to be our very best games ever ...already 13 Golds ( best 16) , 53 total medals ( best 70)  .... even the ad campaign by Sony network our teecaster  which was sounding a bit bombastic at the beginning of the games pushing  'iss barr say parr' ( translated means 'this time 100+') is looking possible with some stretch

Very valid point, with the growth of professionalism in Asian football , clubs are reluctant to loose players for non FIFA Matchday windows. Together with club domestic season & AFC champions league the calendar  is already full.
India had a horrible time assembling a team of 22 players with the  team reaching some 18 hours prior our first match. Perhaps we won’t be sending a team for next games, if we do it will be our U18s or so.

The esports PDF Reports could definitely be improved. They mostly just lost wins/losses, but don’t include any game stats. Surely, it wouldn’t be that hard to include that information :mumble:

    • I've read many years ago that the switch to artificial grass kinda kill the sport at grassroots level in these two countries.
    • India and Pakistan totally losing the plot in this sport, sad.
    • Lisa Vittozzi and Francesca Lollobrigida on the Sanremo’s stage
    • Interesting, for only 2 months i think i have seen some kind of coin from all of the big countries - Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, France, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Ireland and yes the 2 euro from Croatia. But some of them were the smaller ones, 10, 5, 2 cents.    Expectedly there aren't any from the smaller countries so far. Nothing from the Baltics, Cyprus, Slovenia, Malta, Andorra etc. But also a bit surprising i haven't seen any from Greece yet.    Don't know from what part of Italy are you, but it's safe to say that when summer hits there will be a lot of Bulgarians visiting Rome, so i'm sure they'll bring some of our coins to spread around.
    • I choose to collect only coins in circulation (and I have also found coins in circulation that should not be on the market; you can find a bit of everything). From my experience, it takes 4-5 years for coins to reach southern Italy, so I have no idea how it will work in Bulgaria. Incidentally, I am curious to see when I will see my first Bulgarian coin. I have not yet seen a Croatian coin (introduced in 2023!).
    • Yes, i saw that there are a lot of commemorative coins. But to get some of those, i would need to buy them, as i don't know how much of them are in circulation. And the chances of such making it to Bulgaria are rather slim.    Still, if i find some sports ones on a good price, maybe i will order a few.
    • lost against  at P.S.O. Pro League will resume in june.
    • Have you already started looking for the hundreds of commemorative 2 euro coins? There are loads of them, including sports-themed ones.
    • Don't know if someone else is collecting Euro coins, but since we joined the zone it's been fun looking at what you can get.    It took only 2 months, but today i finally got my first Slovakian coin.  @hckošice
