At last year’s Women’s and Men’s Field Hockey Pan Am Cup, Chile won silver behind Argentina.

Oh I thought you said Cuba, my bad.

Yes Chile could potentially upset Argentina, not as likely though.

About Chile: I also think they have good chances in Golf.

I was thinking the same. I don’t what to expect when it comes to the standard of players though.

They could always spring a surprise in something like the road race too.

Quintero :COL allowed to wear a white jersey with rainbow stripes for the keirin. Don’t know if I’ve seen that at a multi-sports games before. :mumble:

Brazil looks more decent at field hockey than I expected, considering it's our worst Olympic sport.

Two days ago we lost to Canada by just 2 goals and today we beat Trinidad and Tobago.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
