English non-League football is still playing.  Because English football works as a pyramid, this involves some clubs that were once famous names, now fallen on hard times.

We have a live non-League football match on in England.  Instead of spreading themselves evenly amidst the vast tracts of empty spaces, the fans ignore all expert advice & herd together like cows behind the goal & near the snackbar.  
 

Oh well, we survived the Blitz, we will survive this.
