I believe we have some day on the Thursday before it, but I'm not sure :p I get easily confused about on which days the dude was killed, went up, came back down, went up again etc.

Pentecost is not about Jesus Christ though so you got that wrong :p It's about Holy Spirit.

Instead of saying I forgot that, I'm gonna counter with "the Bible says they're the same"

@hckosice: Hopefully the border restrictions will be eased for the summer and I can visit your city :D

Last time I was there around 2005, but want to return.

This summer only a few countries will be safe to travel to, the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic among them.

In other news, since 1 May Hungary started to admit again business travellers from Cz. R., Sl. R, Germany, Austria, Poland and S Korea without mandatory quarantine

But you're an atheist so you don't believe in that anyway :p

2005, well, you´ll certainly notice many changes, the city almost completely transformed during the last decade...sadly less green, more buildings

No idea when we´ll open our borders, but it doesn´t look to happen soon. In opposite our authorities are starting a huge project "turista doma" - "tourist at home" calling people to stay this year in the country and spend their vacations by exploring the beauties of own country

Most news channels have stopped broadcasting about covid 19 in what is turning out to be quite a disastrous day for the country....

11 dead and 5000 people are sick in vizag as styrene gas broke out from a plant...

I fear it will increase the covid 19 cases at the same time as it's emergency situation now. People are advised to eat water, milk, banana and Jaggery to neutralise the gas.

The cases are crossing 55000 soon...

India seem to be divided pretty much.some states doing very horrible while some doing brilliantly..

Kerala Model

At one time Kerala was No. 1 in India in covid 19 cases but effecient testing , quick distribution of food and money to all poor and most importantly the strict lockdown imposed by the ruling authoritative  Communist government meant that the state managed to bend the curve...

With 94.4% recovery rate and just 25 active cases out of 502, the economy is now resuming...

Upto even 2 lakh tests can be done per day... We just need to manufacture them fast..

@up and down hope that helps.

Yes I agree with you that this will really help a lot. @Fly_like_a_don

    • I find it interesting how these events are all contested separately in the WC, vs the Olympics where the technical+free (e.g.) are together. Especially since here at this WC, I think just 2 teams competed in all 3 disciplines, and not sure about the women's duet.
    • ioc operates under Swiss law is it illegas in ? no so, it's as simple as it looks: no test? no professional sport (at least those sanctioned by ioc) end.   being an Olympian wasn't ordered by the doctor, if you don't like the ioc rules, just don't take part in ioc sanctioned sports/events

    • Surprisingly the BBC gave this a breaking news notification from their Sport app. Unusual for someone who has been semi retired for a couple of years now.
