waiting to see what happens in the next couple of weeks...:mumble:

my prediction is that we're going to get back to 10,000+ new cases/day and 500+ deaths/day by then...

we are NOT ready to open it up like that right now...definitely NOT...:wall:

Luckily there is a good news... Feluda will be released in India soon.

Feluda, is the world's cheapest covid 19 testing kit, named after the Bengali fictional character.

It hardly will cost a dollar for a kit. Moreover it has given positive results quickly. It takes anywhere between 2 to 5 minutes for the result. Its like pregnancy test kit. Cheap, easy and quick.

Singapore has more than 20,000 cases but only 18 deaths. That seems like an absurdly low death rate.

Actually not suprising if deaths with person having covid 19 and  Co morbidities at the same time  are not counted

    • Yeah, we have such a strong crop of Juniors, that we can’t take them all. They all have exciting trajectories but to predict what Junior swimmers will is always difficult. Better to let them all swim together at Juniors than rocketing them all up to seniors and swimming a prelim and going home.
    • Hanlon is the most unlucky, in my opinion. Aside from relay cover, she's the 50m champ and they made a point of including consideration for those events being in LA for the other discretionary picks. Essentially she has the same case for selection as Max Morgan (albeit without the trajectory right now).   Blocksidge's form was way off this week (compared to her previous bests). Obviously being still young you could put that down to relative inexperience. Still, she has World and European Juniors that she could still be selected for this summer. There's an argument that performing well at those might be as beneficial as going to Singapore.   That said, I'm happy that they did take a bunch of discretionary picks. That's not always been the case.
