Have you guys actually even seen people with masks outside? I can't remember even one in the past 10-15 years or so, apart from maybe an Asian tourist somewhere :p

A prison in Köln/Cologne is in lockdown after a new inmate was seen as a suspected carrier.

Nope, not yet. Most people here keep shaking hands and kissing each other on the cheeks to say hello

Shaking hands has basically stopped here, but everything else goes like we are used to. Luckily, in Germany only few people kissing each other on the cheeks to say hello :d

Today, my employer has decreed that everyone has to do home office for the entire March if there is no urgent occasion to meet people in person. That means I have to come to office exactly once this month for a meeting

I live in New York.  I see them all the time here, even before this outbreak.  Yes, it's mostly Asians, so that's nothing new

    • @hckošice, even though Tomankova lost, she had a good fight against Costa, I think soon she and Babulfath will be the stars of -48kg.

    • Yeah, we have such a strong crop of Juniors, that we can’t take them all. They all have exciting trajectories but to predict what Junior swimmers will is always difficult. Better to let them all swim together at Juniors than rocketing them all up to seniors and swimming a prelim and going home.
    • Hanlon is the most unlucky, in my opinion. Aside from relay cover, she's the 50m champ and they made a point of including consideration for those events being in LA for the other discretionary picks. Essentially she has the same case for selection as Max Morgan (albeit without the trajectory right now).   Blocksidge's form was way off this week (compared to her previous bests). Obviously being still young you could put that down to relative inexperience. Still, she has World and European Juniors that she could still be selected for this summer. There's an argument that performing well at those might be as beneficial as going to Singapore.   That said, I'm happy that they did take a bunch of discretionary picks. That's not always been the case.
