No, we've been trying to tell people we want to go to Krk but they have no idea what we're saying. Can't we quarantine in a place with vowels?

Letter R can be used as a vowel in Croatian so you're good.

As in some other Slavic languages as well. For instance, this sentence in Czech is pure gold: Strč prst skrz krk  I think @hckosice can confirm it
