2020 Golden Gala for Diamond League will move from Rome due to mainteinance towards Euro2020 for football championships. It was thought that the event would have been moved to Milan, but this ended up with it being held in Naples at San Paolo stadium, which was restyled for 2019 Universiade:champion:

I'm curious to see how this will affect the European Indoor Championships in Torun next year. Will both event be held?

Edit: @Vojthas Once again, I'm too slow writing my posts. :p

I have no idea :p Honestly I think that do the Europeans Championship in 2020 isn't a bad idea...

No way as athletes already have their plans (and the venue probably too).

considering how short and not so crowded the indoor season usually is, I don't think it would be a problem to have both championships one following the other (for instance, they could schedule the Europeans at the end of January/beginning of February and the World Champs one month/40 days later...

most (if not all) athletes don't plan to peak in any case, even for those kinds of events, during the Winter season, so it wouldn't be a real problem to show up in both of them...
