How many buildings does USA occupy? we have 555 athletes (i know nba players stay on a ship in a harbor, but that just 12)

In the olympics nba players are the biggest every day stars.   Even to most Olympians seeing kevin durant.  Carmelo Anthony will be something they often just dream of.  Even without kobe.  Lebron.  Steph.  They are still the biggest celebrities along with a very select few.  Bolt.  Phelps.  Djokovic.

There is a large part of the world that doesn't give a f. about basketball. None of these guys are more well_known outside of the US than Bolt, Phelps or Djokovic.

 

And please, only 15 yo girls are actually "dreaming" of seeing nba players (or anyone else for that matter)
