The time will not stop me
dcro 10,210 Posted July 11, 2016 #84 Share Posted July 11, 2016 Fiji NOC has decided that they will not attend the Closing Ceremony (they will return home before). These are the reasons for that decision: "One of the most dangerous countries in the World, as far as drug is concerned, as far as gun on the street is concerned." "Health issue of Zika and "super" bug, and also malaria, yellow fever..." #banbestmen

Weird reasoning by the way, like it'd make any difference It's not weird to be afraid of violence or something, but I very much doubt not going to the closing ceremony will make any difference. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! You never know when drug deal with guns might occur in the Olympic village. And here's the link, reasoning is actually explained in the audio clip below. #banbestmen
hukbrazil 18 Posted July 11, 2016 #89 Share Posted July 11, 2016 Bizarre think that someone in such a position may have a low reasoning ability to speak it and make the decision that was taken.
vinipereira 3,239 Posted July 11, 2016 #90 Share Posted July 11, 2016 Yeah, because we don't see any of these problems in Fiji...
