As the old saying goes: "Having five Ghanese players in your team doesn't automatically make it a great team."

 

Dushanbe-83 made their debut in the Tajik League yesterday, after they of course finished 3rd in last year's First Division and got promoted, we all remember that. They had to face record and six-time reigning champions Istiklol though and that was a bridge too far: 0-7. Manuchekhr Dzhalilov, Tajikistan's all-time top goalscorer, opened the season with a hattrick. Especially his first goal (0-2) was good.

They change the articles almost every day, but still here is today's one. UEFA and the clubs organizations have presumably reached an agreement to restart the domestic leagues in late june / early july and then the Champions League and Europe League in august with a potential one match knockout until the end. Then the new football season should start in september.

That's all fine and dandy for them to agree that, but in the end it's just really not their say :p It's their plan of course, but they aren't the ones who'll decide on a continuation.
