Laurent  retained his title from last year. Kovac  in second @hckošice, so at least you can say  got a podium

What resiliency by Anna Hall. Sustained an injury two months ago during training, and not only is she competing at the World Championships, but she also managed to fight for a silver medal. Can't wait to see what she's got in store for us at Paris 2024.

IMO, medal ceremonies should only exist at the Olympics and Paralympics (and other rare events like the FIFA World Cup and such). Medal ceremonies come from when sports were held exceptionally. Now everything in sports is over-saturated and the medal ceremonies are simply a waste of good time (in large majority of cases).

 

Just hand out the medals spontaneously right at the conclusion of the event (not the tin ones, the real ones). No need for an anthem. And definitely no need to play Gaudemaus 500 times at the Universiade.

 

Having a medal ceremony in the FIFA World Cup, where quite literally nobody cares about the concept of a silver or bronze medal (most people don't even know that exists, you either win the World Cup or you don't), but not in things like athletics world championships....no thanks

I have attented some ceremonies here and seen all these emotions. Tell KJT these ceremonies are unneccessary…
