Why not? A draw can be performed immediately by the software. I won't go searching for the rules, it was clear from her interview that Shiffrin (ranked 1) didn't pick her course but was assigned to the red course. Federer91 2,140 Posted January 21, 2020 #523 Share Posted January 21, 2020 Well there goes even the slim chance for a speedster to take the big Globe.
heywoodu 13,562 Posted January 21, 2020 #524 Share Posted January 21, 2020 Damn it Who's gonna defend the Süd-Tiroler honours in the speed disciplines now, because it ain't Innerhofer neither If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Kirkpatrick 144 Posted January 22, 2020 #527 Share Posted January 22, 2020 (edited) But then again, without Paris, other speedsters could gain more points in downhills and super gs, and become a bigger players for the big globe. EDIT: Well, mostly thinking about Kilde as well. Kriechmayr or Mayer, can they become a threat? Edited January 22, 2020 by Kirkpatrick
heywoodu 13,562 Posted January 22, 2020 #528 Share Posted January 22, 2020 Kilde has the talent, but like Federer said, just not the consistency. Of course that can change with years, people improve after all, but at the moment he simply needs more than what he has (or shows). Kriechmayr and Mayer also don't seem consistent enough (though more than Kilde I'd say) to really fight for the overall globe.. EselTheDonkey 698 Posted January 22, 2020 #529 Share Posted January 22, 2020 (edited) But Kilde and Mayer are much better in Giant Slalom than Paris or Feuz and can get many points in this disciplin or Maybe even parallel events Edited January 22, 2020 by EselTheDonkey

He definitely has the potential, but isn't there yet.
