No, they are still ahead of Germany, Hungary and Spain. 

 

As long as you win the R16 match against Spain or Hungary at the World Champs, you will be fine. But if you lose that, you will be in trouble.

according to my very quick calculation (therefore subject to many mistakes),  are still the best European team outside the top 4 overall, therefore you would be qualified right now

it looks we have a very tough race between  and  for the 4th place (which would change many things in the continental repechage)

 

and then, a crazy fight between  (with  and  not yet totally out) for the European spot ( and  shouldn't have too many problems to end up in the top 4 overall)

This team is not capable of winning the quota, we haven't been in the Top8 at a World Cup event in a while. I think it's going to be  and , Egypt will most likely lose the quota, they already skipped two World Cup events.

 

 

Meanwhile we are getting massacred by Germany in men's sabre. Another bad day for Hungarian fencing...
