It's a shame for :FRA  :redcard::redcard::redcard::redcard:

which has not progressed in 4 years, even we are regressing! how much individual quota can we expect?

3 maximum. But the next years quotas will be harder to win since russians are expected to fught for them

Olympic Quotas

Criteria 1 - 5 quotas (2022 World Championships)

:CHN

:JPN

:GBR

Criteria 2 - 5 quotas (2023 World Championships)

:USA

:CAN

:GER

:ITA

:SUI

:ESP

:TUR

:NED

:UKR

Criteria 3 - 1 quota (Teams Ranked 13-15)

:BRA

:KOR

:BEL

Criteria 4 - Individual All-Around

:KAZ Milad Karimi

:ISR Artem Dolgopyat

:ARM Artur Davtyan

:HUN Krisztofer Meszaros

:KOR Junho Lee

:BRA Diogo Soares

:BEL Luka van den Keybus

:ROU Andrei Muntean

While not fully settled here's who's eligible for each apparatus quota

Criteria 5 - Apparatus quotas

Floor - :PHI Carlos Yulo

Pommel Horse - :IRL Rhys McClenaghan / :JOR Ahmad Abu Alsoud / :TPE Chih Kai Lee / :ARM Harutyun Merdinyan

Rings - :GRE Eleftherios Petrounias / :AZE Nikita Simonov / :AUT Vinzenz Hoeck / :ARM Artur Avetisyan / :ARM Vahagn Davtyan

Vault - :BUL Kevin Penev

Parallel Bars - :PHI Carlos Yulo

Horizontal Bar - :CRO Tin Srbic / :BRA Arthur Mariano

Note this is subject to withdrawals

Not sure how they will handle Yulo's quota since it is not explicitly written as to what happens, will one of them be returned? If so the next person on the list for the floor is :KOR Sunghyun Ryu and for the parallel bars is :BEL Noah Kuavita. I also don't know if Armenia can qualify two quotas at this stage (I think yes).

I think Yulo's quota will be allocated through Floor because it is schedule to be completed on the Saturday whereas the P-Bars final isn't until the Sunday.

If that is the case, Muntean can't get P-Bar quota as he has an All-Around quota already (You have last quota going to :UZB whereas I think it goes to :ROU), so I think that would mean the quota would go to Belgium's Kauvita.

:GBR Individual Finals:

Floor: Harry Hepworth

Pommel: Max Whitlock

Rings: Harry Hepworth (Courtney Tulloch is 1st reserve)

Vault: Harry Hepworth & Jake Jarman

Marginal improvement on last year when we had 4 individual finalists.

I wonder if Hepworth may be encouraged to not take part in the rings final and give his space to Tulloch.

    • Because of the low number of votes some categories may be cancelled (under the rule that at least two people should vote for a nominee). I may give a few more days for voting but I guess there's just no interest this year
