I think also those athletes who either have to compete on many days to finish an event or compete in multiple events will be more at risk than those who are only competing on one or two days.

Politics lovers, here we go, first round. First round is quite "civilized" and requiring some East Asian history knowledge to understand this.

Interesting how Mr Bach keeps insisting he makes a trip to Hiroshima, even though locals are against it, and the actual key people of the Olympics - the athletes - are dropping like flies at this point due to both true and false positive tests, or just ludicrous quarantine rules.

But then again, who am I to question the Master of the Universe himself?

What was he doing there in the first place, considering Uganda has no weightlifting quota?

Edit: I see, he was on a waiting list and had been informed he didn't make it. Was in Japan in case he would, makes sense. Sad though..

    • And this is the final Medal Table fo the XX Bolivarian Games in
    • Agreed. But OTOH, the chances of a Male Team pursuit medal also seem rather slim at the moment, so why the hassle of dropping someone.
    • I have a sports database with millions of entries, which I then convert graphically on my Wikipedia sandbox.
    • Wouldn't be surprised to see the same this time. The men's 500m has basically on or with luck two medal chances, but certainly not three (semi-realistic) ones. With Beau Snellink for now not exactly on his way to an Olympic ticket and Patrick Roest still questionable, that might only leave Chris Huizinga, Jorrit Bergsma and Marcel Bosker, and that is not exactly a group one would want to have in the team pursuit.
    • 4 years ago the third Male 500 metres qualifier was dropped for a Team pursuit rider.
    • In the 5000 she probably won't (first alternate at the moment).      What are the chances of the matrix "prioritizing" a mTP squad ?
