After watching a few hours of events  and especially because of Euro 2020, the lack of fans are really giving me an empty feeling. Things will get better fast, as we get into the nitty-gritty of matches, but for now it feels rather soulless.

Medalists at Tokyo2020 now have a 30-second photo opportunity after the gold medalist’s national anthem is played to pose without masks, but they must stay on their own podium step.

Unable to play their national anthem, the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) proposed “Katyusha,” a Soviet folk-based song usually identified with the fight against Nazi Germany in World War II. The IOC rejected it and a fragment of Piano Concerto No.1 by composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky was chosen as their anthem.

We all (I think) know about this already since two months if not more. So, its not an news.
