The space needle on the anchor is pretty cool.

  • 3 weeks later...

Brayden Point scored the winner for Tampa Bay at the 151th minute of the Eastern conference 1st round game 1 between the TB Lightnings and Columbus Blue Jackets (in other words the 11th minute of 5th Overtime) !!! meaning the match is now the 4th longest Play-Off match in NHL history

The :FIN goalie of Boston Bruins Tuukka Rask leaves the team and will not play anymore during the Play-Offs. Afraid of coronavirus he opted to return home to his family and newborn daughter.

:SVK Jaro Halák is now the starting goalie of the Bruins. Already between the pipes in todays match 3 of the 1st round Play-Off against Carolina which started a couple of minutes ago. The series standing is 1-1 between the Bruins and Hurricanes

No offense to Canucks but I preferred their old color scheme - even with this hideous 1980s jerseys. This literally looked like stuff from Star Trek goons wardrobe or something.

The modern jerseys are basically a rip-off from the Hartford Whalers IMO (yeah, I'm old enough to actually remember that team).

    • If Colturi were to return to Italy, we will have another super duo after Goggia and Brignone. If Colturi has to return, it would be right now, when alpine skiing is so popular here. There are still girls like Pirovano, who are quite young and are already started winning. Alpine skiing in Italy is similar to ski jumping in Poland: there are speak about no young talents, but there is always someone new – it is a matter of the popularity of these sports in these countries and the large amounts of money invested in them.

    • Holdener beat Aicher for 2nd place by 0.04 so Aicher has to win the last GS to have any chance for the overall (trails Shiffrin by 85 pts).
    • Shiffrin wins by 1.32 secs! Business as usual
    • Anna Trocker takes the lead despite a big mistake. Maybe there is some future for  alping skiing
    • Lucas seems to be on another level in Giant Slalom right now.
    • Pinheiro Braathen wins the last GS and the small globe! Odermatt DNF in the first run and he's really tailed off in the last races.
    • Christa Deguchi (judo)   Olympic champion in 57kg in Paris and multiple time World Champion
