Round 1 is a knockout format while Round 2 is a Round-robin based, with top 2 from each group qualifying for Round 3 . EURO 2032 in & Doubt that anyone will contest that. All the other top European nations had or are getting other big events, EURO 2016 + SOG 2024 for France, EURO 2024 for Germany, EURO 2028 for England, World Cup 2030 for Spain. After looong and embarassing 8 years, Košice (the second biggest city of the country) finally returned to the top tier championship, and what a return it was. Yesterday in the 1st round we hosted as the newly promoted team the reigning champion, the arch-rival Slovan Bratislava. Clear and easy defeat in Dunajská Streda against local DAC 5-2 everything fine, obviously, completely deserved win for the host, horrendous defence from our boys, but, yeah that is what you will have to face in the top tier, so better work more to not redrop immediatelly to 2. league next season..
