Dramatic finish to the final stage Tour of .  Race Leader Aular  - Caja Rural - crashed with 200m to go, had to get help from the doctors & then walked to the line with his bike to finish - just managed to get back on in the last few metres, an ambulance ominously following behind like a shark’s fin.

Aular seemed like he'd step into the ambulance, but one of the Lidl-Trek riders pointed him towards the finish line to avoid a rather dramatic DNF  

 

And still not the weirdest finish of the day, that one goes to Arnaud de Lie

 Josh Tarling scores another time trial victory by taking the Chronos des Nations title and beating  Remco Evenepoel by 13 seconds.

Everyone is always like, “remember the team time trial, we should put it back in the Olympics.” I agree, but I think everyone on the team should have to ride the same bike (just maybe not on gravel)
