Well, it was to be expected that Colturi was going to have a breakout result like that sooner or later and the state of Italian alpine skiing will create some very long faces. But hey, if Italy let their "best" prospect walk because of money then it's their fault. If there was some personal feud between Ceccarelli & federation it's even worse. -

I think ski jumping world cup would be much more interesting to watch if they made Round 1 in all the competions in pairs like during 4 hills This is much more interesting format than usual boring 1-hour long first round -

Did she negotiate with the Italian federation until the end? For me it is sad that we have lost the only great talent in this sport for many years. Since Bassino, we haven`t one in technical competitions in alpine skiing. Giorgia Collomb is the same age as Colturi and she has a problem to get single points in the World Cup. Basically, after end of carriers of Goggia and Brignone in 2026, our skiing will die. There will be only Bassino also over 30. No average Italian will waste half a day on Saturday to see Peterlini take 20th place and Rosetti and della Mea don`t finish 5 out of 6 slaloms in one season. -
Obviously that was a Ceccarelli's fault. -
