Im not so confident for the game tomorrow, the team is good but i think Tite gonna start with a "super attack" team and it gonna be dangerous because Serbia are a very good team

Canada deserved a draw.

Yes they deserved a draw, or maybe a win if we look at their chances, but they need to focus more in last 15 meters, because all their shots were bad.

Tuesday we had upset in Game 1 of the day (ARG)

Wednesday we had upset in Game 2 of the day (GER)

by this logic today an upset should occur in game 3 of the day (POR-GHA)   :mumble:

I'm really looking forward for this match actually , Ghana defeated Switzerland in a friendly before WC 2-0 and i'm starting to believe that many NTs perform like last friendly before WC , even though Ghana still has a very good squad of players born in Europe like Mohamed Kudus Ajax striker , Tariq lampetey , Inaki williams brother of Nico Williams of Spain , Mohamed Salisu and Daniel Amartey premier league defenders , but ofc Portugal is very strong team they defeated Nigeria 4-0 just before WC , anyway i guess it'll be a good match

Bein Sport announced that they'll broadcast 22 matches on their open channel on Nilesat , so they chose in GW1 arab teams'matches except for Morocco and just i predicted Switzerland vs Cameroon the least 2 teams with a fan base in Arab world :d

Without Ronaldo.

Portugal playing without Ronaldo plays as a team, and is - in my opinion - very very good. Not Brazil or Argentina good, but good.

With Ronaldo, the team plays entirely for him, and they suck doing that specially with an aged Ronaldo.... :(

    • Bulgarian team is out for the upcoming ECH. There are some good news in that after a year of scandals, some of the biggest names are once again included in the National team and will participate. The issues have not been cleared by any means, but both sides said they have made compromises for now, so that the best wrestlers compete.   @MHSN   By the way, wasn't there some UWW rule about the number of foreigners you had to field per style? As far as i see, we are using almost all of our Russians  Guess this rule was set for any new naturalisations and all previous ones are disregarded, which practically makes this change useless for 6-7 years down the road.   Men's Freestyle:   57 kg - Ivailo Tisov 61 kg -  Erdal Galip  65 kg - Shamil Mamedov (  ) 70 kg - Mikyay Naim 74 kg - Mihail Georgiev   79 kg - Aykan Seid 86 kg - Engin Ismail  92 kg - Ahmed Bataev (  ) 97 kg - Akhmed Magamaev (  ) 125 kg - Alen Khubulov (  )   Men's Greco-Roman:   55 kg - Stefan Grigorov 60 kg - Borislav Kirilov 63 kg - Nikolay Vichev 67 kg - Abu-Muslim Amaev (  ) 72 kg - Dimitar Georgiev   77 kg - Stoyan Kubatov 82 kg - Svetoslav Nikolov 87 kg - Semen Novikov (  ) 97 kg - Kiril Milov   Women's Freestyle:   57 kg - Olga Popova 59 kg - Viktoria Boynova 62 kg - Bilyana Dudova 68 kg - Daniela Brasnarova 76 kg - Vanesa Georgieva
    • Unfortunately, our best striker- Mathilde Fantin, was injured today. Without her we don't have much of a chance against Hungary and France Hopefully, it's nothing serious. As for Slovakia it's still a very young team. Years go by, but these girls are still so young I don't know if there's anyone over 30 there? The Slovak goalkeeper also played bad today.
    • It's hard for me to understand Russia's popularity in Bulgaria. I understand that there was propaganda during the Soviet era, but there was also propaganda in Poland, for example, and Russia isn't popular there. And in Bulgaria, immediately after World War II, the communists carried out terrible repression- a more worse than in Poland or Czechoslovakia. Considering the scale of these repressions, only Albania was worse in Europe under Hoxha. For example, Russia's popularity in Italy can be explained by the fact that these countries have never been neighbors and Russia has never done anything bad to Italy - in the sense of repression, murder, ethnic cleansing in history.
    • Yes, PP is the most pro-European party there currently is. Before Radev stepped down as President and joined the running, PP was leading the polls after the big protests last December, as they were seen as the only real alternative to the corrupt status quo.    After Radev joined, PP lost around 10-15% of the votes, as those people were never true PP voters, but more anti GERB / DPS ones, so they gladly jumped ship to Radev.    The thing which led to the downfall of PP was that they thought they could rule with a strong European policy on the budget and wanted to reform many sectors, which people of course were against, because they wouldn't be able to leech off the system anymore. Plus they started ruling in the worst possible time, as it coincided with 2 major crises, the second year of Covid and the start of the Ukraine war.    There are many reasons why PP unfortunately lost support, but it is hard to explain it for non-Bulgarians.
    • The Stoevi sisters are just amazing. It's a shame their accomplishments will always be in the shadows here, just because they are in a sport without much coverage, tradition, interest.    This is their 7th European title (5 ECH + 2 European Games) which is just one shy of Carolina Marin's all time record of 8th titles in a specific event. Plus it was their 6th consecutive final with only one loss in 2024 in this streak.
    • I know that the PP was definitely pro-European and anti-Russian- they had a prime minister at the very beginning of the war in 2022. Unfortunately, GERB was always corrupt, although it remained in the EPP on EU Parlament all- time. The PP was probably the best option, but unfortunately, they seem to have lost a lot of public support recently.
    • Italy- Slovakia 6-4   An unnecessary black out at the some end, but we achieved our minimum goal – a secure stay at this division after 2 matches. After a 1-day break, we will play against France and Hungary for promotion. I still think Hungary are the favorites, but we can compete with them.
    • GERB actually aren't pro-Russian. They have always been pro-EU and Europe oriented and joining Shengen and the Eurozone happened in part because of them, though with a huge delay. They however have very well used the pro-EU stance to hide the rampant stealing of public funds and corruption surrounding their 10+ year ruling, which is the main reason people protested against them so many times. A bit Orban-esq they have also pretty much filled all institutions with their people, so it's hard to clean their mess.   Radev on the other hand has always been a pro-Russian proxy, though unlike Orban he is much more calculated with his words and actions. He is taking the "diplomatic" and "national" approach, though if you listen to his comments they are clearly favouring Russia.    Even though this guy was President for many years, that position is without much power here, so he hasn't had the chance to do much trouble. But he did manage to plant his seeds in many people's heads, as he always blamed whichever party was ruling for all the troubles in the country and many believe he is our new "saviour".    Compared to Hungary, the situation here is much more complex, as there isn't anyone as popular are Magyar and there are several strong parties, which always get practically the same number of votes.   Radev is surely winning, though the hopes are for the sane people to do damage control. But the truth is there aren't any many good choices, so it's going to be a lose-lose situation.    I don't expect a coalition to be formed, but it will depend on the number of parties passing the 4% threshold. So yeah, we are once again hitting the never-ending elections cycle, which the country has spun into since 2021.
