So this will be the first time since 98 Portugal wont be in a World Cup.

 

It is sad, but well deserved.

 

The manager did a great campaign during the Euro 2016 but should have left after that. He's killing a generation of great offensive players with a disastrous defensive mentality and with a too much dependency of Ronaldo, who might be the best in the world, but that is getting old so it's time to give space to others.

Believe me, if somebody else was coaching the team I believe we could beat Italy, there are really great players in the Portuguese squad.
