Like i said, fair Point But to anyone who watched the Race it should be obvious that i was Talking about Eckhoff and Not Olsbu.

How should I know? I'm not living inside your brain. I'm only reading your posts. Herrmann dominating Olsbu was a flat out LIE and I exposed it as such.

And  you sure meant Olsbu alright since you mentioned her as one of the two best athletes this season. Eckhoff's not even in Top 10 of the standings so I have no idea how could you say she's top 2 of the season.

Luckily at the Open Europeans in Minsk local TV production didn't show us half the shootings of every Belarussian rando fighting for 83rd spot :)

1) Like i said, fair point, its not your fault.

2) I wouldnt call it a lie, but stating that Herrmann dominated Olsbu was certainly wrong. For it to be a lie, i would have had to know that what i said wasnt true and that wasnt the case since i meant Eckhoff and not Olsbu. I never meant Herrmann dominated Olsbu.

3) I for sure didnt mean Olsbu, since it wouldnt even make any sense to compare two athletes who ran different legs (different conditions, different tactics and so on).

4) I never said Eckhoff is top 2 this season, i think i just said that she is one of the best athletes this season and i still think thats true.

Anyone had a perfect prediction? I got Norway and Italy right, but sadly France completely messed up instead of winning silver ...

US did about what I thought the would do.

Dunklee went ok, but used 5 spares, but her skiing was fast.  Egan only used 3 spares, not as fast as Dunklee, but good.  Doherty went 0 + 0, skied fast and had the team in 8th at the last handover.  Nordgren went 3+5 .  They ended had a 2 min penalty as well for IBU DR 5.5 b - 5.5 deals with Ski Testing on the Competition Course.

Found it - "Every round not fired if athletes recommence skiing before they have fired all ... eight shots in a relay competition, having not hit all targets"  I wonder if this was the thing that happened to Dunklee or was Nordgren the one guilty?

Also @dcro no Croatia on single mix start list :(

It's a provisional start list though, changes are possible...(Brazil was on the provisional list for the SMR in Lenzerheide even though they had already left Lenzerheide for example)

    • The only ones complaining about the short track refs are Italians, imo. Not even on this forum, but in general, from what I've been seeing on live chats and other social media sites. That says a lot to be honest. I suspect it's partially due to them not performing to the high standard they're expected to perform at especially at the Olympics. The refs make a lot of mistakes for everyone, there's no bias against or towards anyone    Plus, Italy have won 6 medals already.... the most you've won at a Worlds since 2016.
    • For me they gave Canada the gold in the relay in exchange for a 1000-meter dsq gold for Dandjinou, that's how I see it. It was a battle between Kor and Can on 2 of this case. It's hard to say why that last dsq for Kor was in relay? Of course, Italy win bronze thanks for that, but that's not really important. It would have been better if the referees had just stayed out of the results and left it as it was decided for fight on the ice.

    • the quata for europe or australia is from the primer 12, where the top 20 teams will participate, sadly  is the 21th team so the only slight chance for us in my opinion is if: we get top 2 at the european championship (not including  hopefully if they get the quata), then somehow win the final qualification tournament against i assume  and one of    the chances for us are slim, i think about 4 other team sports  have a better chance in in my opinion(and the most team sports we ever had was one, and it was the last two time after a long time )

    • well, Cuba and Venezuela for sure...   Iran is a different question, but I hope in 2 years all this war shit is done and dusted and at least in the sports world everything is gonna be OK
    • In my opinion the Italian team has been playing above expectations since last year after several years of decline. Last year, we advanced to the first division at the European Championships and now they're playing very close matches against the strong India and Scotland. We a little miss a potential to do more – we are only 18th in the world rankings. Our men's team's performance in this sport is much weaker.
