Pairs Event We now know the 16 nations that will participate in the Pairs Competition that kicks-off in the second-half of the contest. It involves the 12 nations who were eliminated in the team event in sessions 1 and 2 and they are joined by the 4 lowest ranked nations individually at the halfway point. Pairs are balanced by pairing the best ranked team with the lowest ranked team and so on. Links to the rules for the pairs event can be found in the opening post in this thread. Team Event The top 7 teams advance to the next round! Unfortunately the 8th and 9th teams are eliminated and will play no further part in the team event. Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2025 Thank you Greece! The home fans go wild as Ireland receive the 12 points from the Greek jury. It's Ireland's 5th gold medal of the contest and pushes them over the 100-points milestone! It also comes at a crucial point as we conclude the first-half of the contest with Ireland holding a 31 point advantage over nearest challengers France. The battle is just hotting up however and we are just at the halfway mark with 17 of the 34 juries having cast their votes. We go for a long break now of 2 hours and 30 minutes! Plenty of time to get some rounds in at the bar or for the more civilised, perhaps a chance to sample some local cuisine!
