Aimag rescheduled, delayed SEA Games set for May 2022

According to the president of the Philippine Olympic Committee, the 2021 Southeast Asian Games will take place in May 2023.

AIMAG postponement will probably be a good call in the long run as long as the Games happen in 2023. That way they can avoid having the Asian Games the same year.

Malaysia and Singapore will attend SEA Games, Commonwealth Games and Asian Games in the same year.

Not a good day for this gantole athlete at Indonesian National Games, he landed on someone's house.

And the paragliding athletes face a bigger threat, the landing area is not far from a crocodile sanctuary

Think of it as a kind of biathlon, gliding & sprinting.  Crucial to nail the transition.

This is the Tarung Derajat (badly translated as "Fighting degree" by Google), at a glance it's just like taekwondo but without the kick to the head and the referee in this sport always looks like going to join the fight at any time

Commonwealth Games have cut down mandatory events from sixteen to two: athletics & swimming. Another sign how this event is basically expendable in modern era. They can always go with "urban" events for kids and e-sports for teenagers? :p
