Athens hosted the Final of Europe's Division 2 this weekend.

 

Norway won, and thus get promoted for the Division 1 next year. Together with 2nd placed Portugal, they advance to the Nations Cup Finals in Barcelona, which will serve as Olympic qualifier.

According to German media, both Australasia and the Middle East won't send any Team to the Nations Cup final, meaning the Netherlands and Germany will participate instead.

Looks like Syria withdrew. Probably they want to limit their focus on Rabat qualifier, even if they don't stand much of a chance.
