Fiji is going to go through hell in the next 24 hours, a hurricane on the edge of category 4/5 will make landfall and basically hit the whole country head-on. Only capital Suva might be somewhat spared because of it's slightly protected location.

LA is getting a very rare winter thunderstorm right now. In fact, a good portion of the state is getting slammed by heavy rain/snow tonight. It’s a welcome sight since our “rainy” season has looked a lot like our dry season so far.

Have been watching Winter Sports on Eurosport for over 20 years now, and I don’t remember a week in which every single venue in all sports has had so much natural snow.  Usually there is at least one with brown grass, concrete & a thin ribbon of snow or ice.

I have no comment on how Spain has snow storms, while i here, have to pray to have 5 good days of snow the whole winter.. F world weather patterns.
