I already expected that: so much fumbling in the infield. This Dutch team is the weakest Dutch team in years ... unfortunately.

 

So, this loss means maybe Spain or Italy will play against  in the quarterfinals .

 

How will be determined the number 5 of these championships?

yes, there's a 5th-8th place PO...

 

by the way, NED lost, but ITA won only 2-1 at the 10th inning against CRO (who yesterday drove Spain crazy, too)...

 

until now, CRO are the most pleasant surprise of the tournament, despite the 2 losses in 2 games...let's see if they can also win a match when they face a weaker opponent in the next few days...

Finally the first win for  these Championships, a solid 9-0 against  . After the loss of  today, the Dutch probably need two more wins against Israel and Germany to avoid  and  in the quarterfinals.

Damn, two disappointing results from I thought that after those close matches against European powerhouses it's gonna be easy peasy lemon squeezy for them in the remaining games but they're struggling.

Netherlands win against Germany (8-1) and still has a chance to avoid Italy and Spain in the quarterfinals. 

 

Italy and Israel make the most impression so far. 4 plays, 4 wins.
